A truly authentic country pub with fantastic atmosphere situated in this pretty village. Food was absolutely superb, presentation beautiful, service fantastic - smiley staff, very efficient and staff who cared about their guests and knew how to serve!
Every time we visit The Red Lion whether it be lunchtime, evenings, weekdays or weekends it is always buzzing, everyone is having a great time, enjoying superb food from a great menu. They cater thoughtfully for all their guests.
This is our second visit and on each occasion we enjoyed delicious food and excellent service. We had the choice of eating indoors or outdoors - both had lovely atmospheres. Nothing was too much trouble and our whole experience hard to fault! Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back.
Just returned from a beautiful evening at The Red Lion. Food was exceptional, staff were incredibly friendly - nothing a bother. I tried my first ever scotch egg and fear all future scotch eggs may be inferior! Also enjoyed a few too many delicious Aperol Spritz! 5 stars, highly recommend
