Lovely place to spend a couple of hours. You pay to go in the windmill. Model steam railway £1 to ride on. Very interesting rural/ R.A.F museum, entry by donation. Cafe, toilets, few shops & children's play park on site. The car park is quite small.
Its a nice place to visit on a weekend. We went on a Monday and all shop closed. The wind mill attendant showed us inside the windmill though which is nice x
Waltham Windmill is a beautiful and historic place that is well worth a visit. The windmill is in great condition and the views from the top are amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the £3 admission fee is very reasonable. I would highly recommend Waltham Windmill to anyone interested in history, architecture, or simply a nice day out.
