Just sat down to a delicious butternut squash, sweet potato and ginger soup along with some freshly baked seed bread and a superb flat white... And realised I hadn't done a Google maps review of my favourite Wallingford cafe!! (shock horror)
My first visit was borne of desperation in my search for a decent cup of coffee in Wallingford... I had not realised that the cafe was, for the most part gluten and dairy free (which is not something I look for), so when they told me the coffee would be made with a milk alternative my expectations dropped (my past experiences with soya milk had not been enjoyable). On seeing my expression the cafe owner reassured me that the soya milk they used was quite different to that normally found in supermarkets (I'm looking at you over-sweetened alpro). I gave her the benefit of the doubt and I'm so glad I did; it was one of the best flat whites I've ever tasted hands down. No going back. 😁
Its always a treat to come here with the fresh, modern but still-somehow-cosy environment, friendly helpful staff and delicious food... Did I mention the coffee? Yeah 10 out of 10 would recommend to a friend. Which I do, continually 😂
Excellent vegan cafe serving awesome breakfast. I loved the Avocado tartine and the hot chocolate. Loved the friendly staff and excellent service. Highly recommended.
First time visiting here, superb cafe. Coffee perfect & I tried the carrot cake which was absolutely delicious.
