Outstanding British style bistro in the centre of Wakefield. We went on 'steak night' and were served a gastronomic feast by knowledgeable and truly friendly front of house staff.
Our steaks were cooked perfectly to our requirements and the cauliflower cheese was to die for.
Used to love coming here, but since turning vegan, I've not been at all, I don't think. (I've been vegan for 6 years now). When they brought out a 3 course vegan menu for Christmas, we jumped straight on it, and I suggested it to the entire family. The vegan food was so good, flavours were on point & we didn't feel like we missed out. I posted the recommendation in a local vegan group & hope to see a vegan option added to the menu to make this more accessible.

Stunning meal, myself, and my partner both went off the steak menu.
I had the Argentina and she went Spanish.
Both steaks were perfectly cooked and well presented.
Followed by a cheese board each.
The Berry spritzer and the Elderflower spritzer were both lovely and refreshing.
The was just short of £60.
Definitely worth a visit.
