This place is great! A hidden gem. Don’t be fooled by the exterior, which sadly needs a lot of work and has been left to deteriorate. Inside this place is lovely. Lauren and Mark who run the place are extremely welcoming, friendly and deliver great service! The food is super cooked on site and locally sourced. I can recommend the soup and the delicious cream tea fruit scones. The inside of the building has a lovely feel to it with art deco vibe. Added to this the views are amazing!
Ventnor Winter Gardens was the perfect escape from the rainy weather outside! Inside, it felt so cozy and welcoming, like we were stepping into a family-friendly haven.
The decor was a delightful mix of modern and vintage, and the comfy seating made us feel right at home. We all enjoyed our meals - from the hearty full English breakfast to the cheesy goodness of Mac and cheese, and the satisfying fish and chips. My daughter loved the sausage sandwich and couldn't get enough of the garlic bread!
The best part was the friendly waitress who made our day even brighter with her helpfulness and warm smiles. And the chef was not just an expert in the kitchen but also a walking encyclopedia about the restaurant's history.
Despite the dreary weather outside, our time at Ventnor Winter Gardens was filled with joy and laughter. It's definitely a place we'll come back to for more wonderful memories!
This place has awesome views from the windows and outside space of Ventnor Bay!! We both had a Burger and chips which was very nice and filling while looking at the view! This is a real ale pub with local real ale! It was quiet when we were there but got busier as we left! Recommend it and the staff, who are helpful and friendly!!
