I've been to Nonna Rosa on and off over the years. After this last visit I know I shall go more often. Friendly staff, good plentiful food and very reasonable pricing. If it were in a more swanky location they could probably charge a lot more. As it is, I think it is something of a bargain.
The inside and outside of the restaurant looks beautiful, considering it's location on a busy road. Nona Rosa swears by it's "authentic and regional Italian food" and the food is pretty good.
What surprised me was the range of Italian food on offer. The food was delicious and very filling (I ordered the hand filled ravioli). The atmosphere is pleasant, and staff were welcoming, friendly, and all around helpful.
They have a set lunch menu on weekdays, but I'm sure you can ask to have something off of the normal menu if you wanted. But, if you are a large group (more than 5) you will have to pay a 10% service charge.
Amazing little local "real Italian" restaurant, (unlike bella italia etc)
Service was welcoming, and the food was amazing, being Italian myself, I couldn't doubt it.
