Can't really rate the rooms as we only popped in for lunch.
As it wasn't too busy, there was plenty of space in the car park and we could be accommodated even though we hadn't booked
Menu wasn't massive but there was plenty of choice and there was a nice selection of drinks.
I wouldn't normally go for a steak sandwich as I'm quite funny about the quality of the meat, but the steak with mushrooms and caramelised onions sounded delicious....and it really was! Loads of good quality steak cooked to perfection and it was so tasty! Accompanied with (what I believe) homemade coleslaw and real chips, it really was a treat. Husband opted for the fish finger sandwich 🙄 which he enjoyed but said there was far too much rocket which took over the taste of the fish but it was a problem easily remedied ourselves.
Portions were perfect and well worth the £12.95.
Service was fab, staff really friendly and efficient. They also provided water and fusses for Boris.
Really enjoyed our visit and wouldn't hesitate to come back. Would recommend 👍🏻
We had a very tasty family Sunday lunch here. We all enjoyed it and although the desserts looked gorgeous we were all too full. Great Yorkshire pudding! Lovely riverside location.
Lovely pub right by the river. Stopped by for a drink . Although didn't open till 4:00 the landlady kindly served us a drink anyway. Manu looked good and would certainly stop there again. Recommended
