Nice restaurant! The food was excellent! Flavor and quality of ingredients are also great. Everyone enjoyed their meal.
If you are sitting outside just be sure the staff knows you are there. It seems when the weather is not so good, the waiters are not checking that often.
I'll definitely come back to try something else from the menu.
This place is just a 10-minute drive from Stonehenge. The vibe was warm and welcoming, and the food was outstanding. It’s a quaint family-run restaurant and they source their ingredients fresh from local growers and producers—high quality you can taste.
I ordered the pie of the day with a side of peas and the fruit cobbler for dessert. The pie crust was buttery and flaky, and the filling consisted of tender, melt-in-your-mouth chunks of beef. Paired with green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy that balanced the flavors and textures of the pie, it was a quintessential British meal.
The fruit cobbler did not disappoint. It was served with a custard sauce, and boy, was it good! The warm berry filling went great with the biscuit crumble. Not too sweet with the flavors of the in-season berries shining through.
An awesome experience! Top marks to the staff who are so friendly and attentive. The food was great ! I am a very picky eater but even for me the food had no complaints! Thank you
