Lovels Bistro

We went to our friends wedding there over the weekend and it was really good. The rooms were nice with a walk in shower, comfy bed can't complain about anything. Breakfast was again brilliant the sausages are to die for. The price of the drinks over the weekend were reasonable overall a great stay and the service was superb nothing was too much bother for any of the staff.

I have been to Holland Hall many times now and it has never disappointed. The service is great, the food is great with a great variation on the menu. I usually go on a Sunday an they have live musical acts on. They are always great, one or two can be quite loud but the best ones we have heard were Jamie Nash on Piano (we had him play at our wedding) and Richard Hart who plays a mix of songs on guitar. Would recommend to anyone who wants a really good hearty home cooked meal an he very satisfied afterwards.

Our daughter had her wedding here last Sunday and it was an amazing day. We can’t thank Bevan, Joanne, Dan and the rest of the team enough for making the day so special. Even though there had been another wedding the previous day, the team worked tirelessly to ensure everything went smoothly. The venue was decorated beautifully (both the ceremony room & main room), the food (canapés & the bbq option wedding breakfast & pizzas later on) was plentiful and delicious, all the guests commented on the quality of the food, including the breakfast for those guests that stayed over. The newly decorated bridal lounge is a fabulous addition, my daughter and her bride squad were very impressed with the setup. DJ was fabulous too and had everyone dancing the night away. A day to remember forever. Thank you Holland Hall, would definitely recommend you as a wonderful wedding venue.

Visited the pub on two occasions this year, had Sunday lunch which was excellent and good value for money. Compliments to the chef. The bar staff are very friendly and helpful. We have booked our 60th birthday party and 40th wedding anniversary there in 2025. Would recommend the pub staff and Sharon the events co-ordinator. Well done to the team and look forward to more visits . The live entertainment on Sunday afternoons is a nice touch.

We arranged our small(ish) wedding with 4 months notice and were amazed when Holland Hall said they could accomodate us. They went through every detail ensuring everything was ticked off, offering several options of room decor, meals etc. When our numbers changed or we wanted to amend anything the team were always available. The room, meal, drinks and evening entertainment were absolutely perfect. The staff were all very well presented, attentive and always smiling. Many of our guests commented on this. Several of our group stayed at the venue and found the rooms and breakfast were excellent. I don't write many reviews at all but I'd recommend Holland Hall for your special day.

We had our Daughters wedding here and I cannot praise the staff enough. The accommodation, the bar area, function room, food, service and attention given to us was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble and the experienced team helped with absolutely everything. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. If you want to celebrate any event then this is THE place to go to

Always blown away at how welcoming and warm the staff and environment is. The food is delicious and filling and the entire atmosphere just fits perfectly with its surroundings. Stunning evening as always and huge thanks to Joanne, our wedding coordinator, for always making us feel as though it's just 'Us' We can't wait for October xx
