We regularly visit Sapori for our coffee, amazing pastries and my kids love their pizzas (which we also order to takeaway) but we asked Julian and Rupy to help us with the catering for our sons christening, which was being held locally at Twickenham Cricket Club. We gave them a brief and they provided lots of delicious menu options and worked with us to finalise a menu. They were just fantastic, they communicated throughout, they understood and worked to our budget and on the day they delivered delicious food on time and everyone commented how yummy their food was. They were absolutely brilliant, went beyond the call of duty on the day and helped make the christening a very special day for our 50 friends and family! We would definitely recommend them - thank you Julian and Rupy!!
Delighted Julian has taken over the cafe, ambience is great, coffee gets my thumbs up.
What a lovely little find! We rather stumbled across Sapori Tw1 just as it was closing for the day, it is a sweet deli/cafe, with Italian produce on sale, and a really relaxed and inviting atmosphere, and somewhere were you could drink tea and eat pastries for hours. The woman inside is charming, and happy to serve us even though it was 5.55. We decided to give her a break and rather than staying in, we chose some delicious little pastries to take away: very good decision.
We had an enjoyable tour of the pastry section, in which we were told exactly what each pastry was called and what was inside it and where it was from. Alas, I have forgotten what most of them were called, but both mine and my mother's favorite was the one nicknamed "lobster tails" (because of the shape; not the flavour!). It is the pastry on the top left in my photo. It was crispy, flaky gold, and I could happily eat at least three more. You have to try it. The rest were also good, but the lobster tail was just perfect.
We've already made plans to return, and this time sit in and have a few more lobster tails.
