Dont be put off by the location of this cafe - although in an alley off the beaten track of the city, it is a hidden gem of a place that you NEED to visit!
We visited this morning for breakfast and it was the BEST breakfast we have had in a long time, and very reasonably priced. We were also impressed by the coffee, and we couldnt resist trying some of the cakes too!
It is a small cafe, but has a friendly and inviting atmosphere, and the service coudnt be more welcoming.
We will be returning here again soon, and we are keen to try the other dishes on the menu!
Staff are warm and friendly. Food is incredible. Pricing is also more than reasonable and all sourced from local suppliers. Staff are also more than kind at making any adjustments you wish if you are unsure on any menu items. We had 3 hot drinks and 3 meals for less than £30
My favourite midweek lurking spot in Truro. It has a very simple menu of Breakfast or Sandwiches with some nice drinks. Most of Truro's cafe are #Quirky, but I like this simple cafe better. It's very small and their limited menu is done well. The bacon is handmade so it has a distinct flavour that you really have to try.
The food presentation was on par with what I've seen at high-end places in Brighton. Picture below. More importantly the place has good atmosphere and regular patrons. It's also good value for money especially when compared with the rest of the area.
Their Biscoff cakes are really good too so please try them (but leave one for me TT-TT). They're breadbased cakes, so if you are like me and can't handle anything too sweet they're really perfect.
It's a nice place to take a friend to chatter.
Also you can spin at least two Pokéstops while here and possibly a third if your GPS likes to wander a little.
