Went there in a group of 4 for Sunday lunch. Excellent value for money with 2 courses for £10. Great food with the main part the meal the meat gravy and roast veg being presented on the plate. Cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage and carrots for 4 served on a separate dish. More than enough for the 4 of us. Carrots didn't look that appealing. 2 additional gravy boats. One meal was very late in coming out. Note that the choice of meat was limited to beef, pork and chicken. The sweets were delicious. 2 of us had the special of After Eight Cheesecake with pouring cream and the others had Chocolate Fudge Cake one with pouring cream and the other with ice cream. Had to wait some time for the bill otherwise the girls serving were very pleasant. It was a very popular place as it was nearly full when we left. Note than in the room we were in there were flashing fairy lights and 2 diners asked to be moved to the other room as they found them irritating. I Don't know whether there was an option to stop the lights flashing.
Visited again on 27 February 2022 for Sunday lunch. Same excellent value for money and service was friendly and top notch. Beer was good along with the food. Flashing fairy lights were switched off. More photos added of the food.
Gorgeous deco, food, service, and location
Been here twice now and the food is lovely, decently priced. Staff are wonderful and friendly, never too much trouble and best yet. Dog friendly!
Seating outside and having your pooch enjoying the sunny forestry area
Stayed at the Nags Head for a night and what a wonderful place. The beds were very comfortable and the room had all the facilities you could need. The pub was very traditional, absolutely amazing. Claire and Mark were the perfect hosts, and made us a delicious breakfast for our departure.
