We just spent two nights at the Imperial. Because we didn't pre book we had to stay in one room for the first night then swap to another for the second. The first night we had a sea view with balcony. It was absolutely lovely and complete with all the little extras like robes, slippers, bottled water, posh toiletries etc etc. The second night we had to 'down grade' to a non sea view room. Not only did we lose the balcony/sea view but lost all the little extras too! Most disappointed as we thought we were merely losing the view and not the quality. Room was much smaller, fixtures and fittings were much 'cheaper'. Even the carpet was lower grade! None of this were we told before hand. Totally lead to believe all would be the same minus the balcony/view! We do not recommend level 4!! Breakfast was excellent although we did have to queue to wait for a table. Never had to do this before! Both rooms were cleaned to a high standard. We would stay again but for only £20 difference we would have the balcony/sea view room - with all the trimmings!
Wonderful hotel!!! Very luxurious very high class and all in all wonderful!
Just got back home to Scotland after a 9 hour drive after staying in this wonderful hotel for a 3 night break with my partner I can honestly say I’m well and truly relaxed after having the full spa day and the most wonderful views! Highly recommended to get the sea view rooms! Worth every penny!
Only downside to this is there’s no option of all inclusivethis would of been the cherry on top of the cake if there was an option to go all inclusive!!
Still a highly recommended hotel to visit torquey is a beautiful place! X
