We had dinner here and service was excellent. From the initial booking until departure, the impression was of genuine warmth and a desire to really look after the guest. Food quality was very good; be aware that the banquet for two is actually sufficient for four! Would certainly recommend.
I visited Yum Sing on Tuesday 15 October 2019 in the early evening, a weekday during term time. I was with one other person. This was my first visit. I used Google Maps to find the restaurant, which was easy and led me straight to the right place.
I parked in the car park right outside the restaurant - parking was easy.
The restaurant comprises of a number of medium sized areas each with a number tables with full table service.
The team were very friendly and welcoming and I had no issues - we got everything we expected in good time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
I shared a selection of starters including spring rolls, seaweed, chicken satay and garlic mushrooms then I shared sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style and sweet and sour crispy shredded beef with some chicken rice. The food arrived hot, was well presented and tasted really good. There was a good selection of food and I found something that appealed to me easily. The food was very good value for money, I paid around £25 for two courses and drinks.
Overall I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely come and visit again.
Went as a birthday treat, I would highly recommend the food, it was very tasty and good portions, likely don't need to order more than 1 dish per person. The staff were great and offered to box up leftovers also. Will be hoping to have the delivery also.
