best pub I've eaten in for a lo g time staff are excellent and service was very good would recommend to anyone
We've eaten at the Brink for years and never been disappointed; we ate there last night and we were very satisfied. The food was brought to our table within five minutes of ordering, it was perfectly cooked and portion size was just right. As always the staff were polite and attentive. We'll be back soon! 👍🏻
Busy, friendly buzzing with atmospher altogether a great place to eat or drink. I had the gammon steak and it was to die for. Road up was a bit narrow but fine if you take your time.
really nice country pub feel,,with a fantastic view from the large conservatory, very friendly staff, quick service on an extensive home cooked menu and a very good specials board also, had the steak and ale pie and also lamb cobbler, lots of chunky steak pieces and light and fluffy puff pastry top, cobbler was filled with lamb chunks, and 2 dumplings, will b going again soon as great value for money, highly recommmended
Myself and the wife rate the Top Brink as one of our favourite places to go for a meal. Not the cheapest place to go but you get what you pay for . I do love a Mixed Grill and the Top Brink does a cracker....good cuts of meat, everything just right.
This was our second time eating here in the last few months. The food has been lovely both times. It’s a lovely old country pub with gorgeous views. A nice variety on the menu too, the Mac and Cheese bites were so nice! The staff were polite and helpful. It’s a great atmosphere in there, both times we have been it has been quite busy but this hasn’t affected the service. It’s definitely my ideal pub on a Sunday afternoon. We will be returning!
The best sirloin beef roast dinner we have ever had. Great Vocation brewery beer. Table & chairs were abit sticky though. On reflection I think it was the cleaning cloth that was making it sticky
My wife and I go here from Huddersfield quite regularly. The food is very good and the staff are very friendly. Nice pint of Landlord. Brilliant. Had very nice rump steak. Aw
I was brought here as a child, first time back as an adult. The sun was shining and there was plenty of parking and outside tables, so that's what I took. Fantastic position in the middle of nowhere, the roads are taxing but a delight, you need to keep your eye in front and be courteous. Back to the food, cannot fault it in any way, the portions are large and you are not left wanting. They are dog friendly and even made a special order of two boiled eggs for my (borrowed) dog as he has a restricted diet. The service was very quick and always with a smile. I would recommend booking ahead as it is very popular. You are just 5mins walk to the start of a path to Studley Pike affording fantastic views over the Todmorden valleys. A special mention to the Cumberland sausage especially made for them, with mustard mash, veg and gravy, superb!
Been coming here off and on for @ 10 years but very regularly the last 7 since moving to the Valley. Always consistently good food, good service and atmosphere also consistently great. Yes prices have gone up but I’m not coming here to eat fast food at Poundland prices or go to a contemporary place anywhere in the country. I like the individuality of the Top Brink and it’s a good local place I’ll keep coming back to.
