If you want a great village pub with a great village atmosphere then you dont need to look further than the Queens Head, was so friendly with great food and fab staff.
The Sunday roast was well cooked and plenty of it.
The roast potatoes were crispy as was the huge yorkshire pudding.
The beef, chicken and pork belly were all equally tasty and not over cooked, the side of cauliflower cheese was heavenly.
It was great to meet a chef who actively asked for feedback and was proud of his food! Great job Scot. Loved the popcorn cockles.
A place not to be missed!
The Queen's Head is a local pub ran and owned by locals so has a wonderfully friendly atmosphere and very welcoming to family's. There is ample parking at the rear that also leads into a large play park and field.
You can access the pub from the rear through their raised decking area. The pub interior is a mix of classic pub feel and a touch of modern splashes.
The staff are very friendly and chatty which was quite surprising for a local pub, we were made very welcome.
The food is modern and presented on slate plates, in little wooden chests and of course plates. So the kids and grown ups should enjoy the dinning experience.
Now, although I would not say this is a sports bar it does shows the main games and is a strong supporter of the Canaries. (Norwich City)
Overall we would recommend the pub for the great atmosphere, friendly welcome, location and nice food. Kids very welcome also.
Excellent service and good food in a very welcoming atmosphere. We are very lucky to have such a great facility so close.
