In addition to the excellent fish and chips, The Berkshire Fry now offer a small selection of Indian Food. I tried the food for the first time on Friday and I can honestly say it was tasty and full of flavours. I had the Karahi Gosht this is a Lamb curry cooked with ginger, garlic, green chilli, coriander and garam masala. The meal was well cooked and offered a good amount of Lamb meat chunks. The flavours were well balanced and one of the bets I have had. I also tried the Bombay Aloo (Bombay potato) again great flavours. These were topped up with a plain rice and garlic naan. I found the best way to order was on the Berkshire Fry web site, quick and simple to use and you can select your collect slot times. Whilst my favour food from this take away is the fish and chips, I will certainly be buying my curry's from here again. Well done .
Excellent Quality Fish and Chips. I have used The Berkshire Fry a number of times and I can honestly say, that these are the best fish & chips I have ever had in Thatcham. The portions are a good size, and both the fish and chips are cooked to a high standard and of good quality.
The owner and staff are welcoming, and friendly and always offer an excellent service, with a big smile. Well done all, keep up the excellent work.
Great chips, great chicken although batter on the fish was a bit heavy - but certainly going back 😁👍
