What an amazing evening of authentic Spanish food, wine and music. Was luckily enough to enjoy a tasting menu courtesy of friends. Each course arrived looking and smelling so enticing it was hard to choose a favourite, Spanish food looked from the heart by Carmen. And then desserts arrived :) and they all looked so good I had to try them all. A lovely idea having someone cook the food in your kitchen while you enjoy entertaining your guests but would also consider a takeaway option. Thoroughly recommend. Carmen and her team prepared an amazing feast for our 100 guests of all ages (0-84!) for a Wedding party. We had the most amazing Spanish chickpea stew with salad and fresh bread - people are still asking me for the recipe - followed by cheeseboards and torta do Santiago almond cake. It was divine! Nothing was talk much trouble for Carmen and she worked with me to devise a menu which would please our guests and work for our budget and event style. On the night they worked seamlessly and left the house spotless too. We also tasted her amazing tapas tasting menu and can highly recommend it (our dishes were based on these tapas but we particularly also loved the manchego, the tomato and iberico ham, the pork cheek, the churros and the chocolate strawberries too!). Thank you Carmen and your wonderful team! We will certainly use Carmen again for a special occasion.

Held a ‘Spanish’ evening for my friends. Carmen devised and cooked an amazing Tasting Menu, the food was simply outstanding. Having Carmen attend the evening and cook in my kitchen allowed me to relax and enjoy the evening. The food was simply outstanding, We simply couldn’t choose a favourite course. Carmen recommended the wines (to meet all budgets) which complimented the food and even shared her Spanish playlist on Spotify to add for to the authentic feel of the evening. Carmen provided menus and her charming son helped to serve the food. If you are looking to cater for just a few or larger numbers then I can’t recommend Abanico highly enough.
