Very busy neighbourhood Italian, with Maurizio and Luca with a friendly welcome for all.
Arancini and polenta with bacon in a mushroom sauce were rather delicious.
The pasta dishes were so tasty, and filling. The pizzas also looked really good and were a very generous size. Dessert was the staple Italian favourite, Tiramisu. Again a generous portion, very creamy, but it could have done with a stronger coffee hit to really set it off nicely.
Overall a great place to get stuck in to some great food.
We came to La Dolce Vita on 21/09 for my Boyfriend's birthday. Luca was a great host- I think he was the only waiter, but you were never without a drink in hand or food in front of you. The food was incredible- authentic Italian dishes. Luca went to extra mile to provide my boyfriend with a birthday desert and get everyone to sing happy birthday (which you can imagine he enjoyed! haha)
Great ingredients, big portions, and friendly service. Hands down the best Italian restaurant in Twickenham/Teddington.
Recently I have left restaurants feeling deflated. The food portions have become smaller and the prices have been rocket high. But there’s hope, the food here is delicious and generously portioned.we were served complimentary olives and bread, and tap water, which nowadays is unheard of. Staff were attentive and friendly and it was worth every penny. We left with big smiles on our faces.
you will not be disappointed…
