What a beautiful little pub, found on passing, as driving about looking for food. Firstly, this place should be packed. Just enough on the menu as to not start 'umm'ing and ah'ing' over choices. I think this is good so there isn't any compromising quality over quantity. For starters, between us we had the mushroom soup, fish cakes and chicken liver parfait. Nothing to fault. Mains, we had one of beef, chicken and the pork. Again, no faults. Delicious, from the perfectly cooked meat, to the veggies and home cooked Yorkshire, a big bonus. Puddings, well I was last man standing and chose the creme brulee. I got greedy and needed the wife to help out. Bosh, 3 out of 3, very good, and very rich 😀 . All this we very friendly happy staff, we will return, with more people. Photos don't do it justice, come and try the place, you won't be disappointed.
The Ulleskelf Arms is recently under new management and they have done an amazing job with the revamp.
The atmosphere is welcoming, variety of drinks is good and the food is highly recommended. The Sunday roast was great and we will be returning again to try the rest of the menu.
They usually have weekly events ranging from quizzes, beer festivals and food vans that are always great quality.
Definitely worth a trip out!
Fantastic local pub, the owners and staff are very attentive and helpful without being overbearing. The food is amazing (especially the pies), big portions and very reasonably priced! It is dog friendly, the dog that lives there is more than happy to share his home with other dogs and your pup may find a treat or two headed their way.
