The food was £1.50 dearer than another eatery we visited, but it was a carvery, so I get that there'll be a price difference. Fab wine selection. Chilled pub for a Sunday. Enjoyable meal.
This is a traditional hotel located right on the middle of the old town. This is where the night life of Swindon is at its busiest. The Hotel itself is quite pleasant inside, and had a long bar and large seating area. The staff are all very attentive and friendly, and will do all they can to make your stay more enjoyable. A point to more is that on Friday and Saturday nights, the bar becomes a night club from 2100-0300, so you may experience some additional noise in your room. I stayed in room 31,located on the second floor. The room was very clean although on the small side. The double bed was not a king, and so also quite small. There was a twin socket with usb ports on each side of the bed. A small fan was supplied as there's no air conditioning, and it was needed, as the room was very very hot! This caused a problem, as opening the window connected is to the beer garden/smoking area, and so there was quite a lot of noise, and the smell of cigarette smoke. The breakfast was excellent, with a good choice. This is chosen the day before, and so is cooked by the chef to order. Food is available throughout the day, and is of good quality at an inexpensive price. Free parking is also provided for guests.
A wonderful nightclub. I loved the place and the bar staff are very friendly, especially there is a nice girl with a beautiful smile and a beautiful face and her manner with customers is very nice. Her name is Mikyla. I wish her continued success.
