Great little pub. A must visit, when I come to see family in the area. It has had its ups and downs over the years but under great new management for the last twelve months or so, it is on the up and up.
Love the remembrance tributes as well, interesting historic pointers, especially for those who like the twin topics of military history and "a pint".
I work at The Eagle and so it could be said that I have a very biased point of view but I worked here before it was under New Management too so biased or not I have seen it change first hand and so I have to say a huge thank you to Chris n Laura Taylor and Carrie And Karl you have made The Eagle a really great place to work and a fantastic place to socialise too . Its a fantastic pub and can only get better xxx Thank you
