We had breakfast on our way back to Poland from a short holiday in the Gower. We had traditional and large, but the large was what you usually get as normal. Mushrooms, tomatoes or black pudding must be added separately, which we didn’t notice. Other than that, it was good. Nice idea with a hot drink from a machine which can be refilled. Toilets could do with a bit of cleaning. We loved sitting and watching local people having a beer and reading a newspaper or some local guys having a chat ober a beer or coffee.
A fairly spacious J.D.'s inside & all on 1 floor so, was glad the Toilets were on the one Level. I had the Curry Club with an Onion Bhaji & Samosa plus a Pint of their Real Ale & was really good. The Food was cooked & served very promptly & was still nice & hot when brought to our table. Prices were cheaper than other Wetherspoon's I've been to apart from the "Bears Head" in Penarth which was of similar price. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this Wetherspoon's.
More of a traditional crowd in on a Saturday afternoon. Less younger people, a few families and loads of middle aged men sitting in groups chatting, it was a good relaxed atmosphere. Usual good range of drinks BUT no Thatchers. Cheap prices, good service didn't try the food so can't comment.
