I love this place. Incredible staff, great drinks and beautiful sausage rolls all year round. However, I have noticed a 'new policy' that has arisen that I find quite unreasonable to say the least. Earlier today (a very hot day mind you) I came back from school feeling dehydrated and ill with nothing but my bus fare, and asked for a simple cup of tap water. The cup of water was poured, I almost had it when suddenly one of your workers told me that they were not allowed to give tap water to customers anymore. I do not blame your staff in any way, but that water and cup are now wasted, at that point is it really so bad for me to have the drink? A polite 12yo being refused a cup of tap water on a hot day does not make any sense to me. I understand manager's discretion, but maybe some common sense is necessary.
Good options of sandwiches, baguettes, donuts and more😊 with some good hot coffee☕️ Friendly staff😊 It’s a quick access for food when catching the buses😄 A well maintained outlet of Greggs😊
Great little Gregg's conveniently located in the bus station itself. Morning queues for breakfast normally go down pretty quick, however afternoon queues while waiting for a bus can take longer to be served. Worth noting if your bus goes in five minutes and there's a queue.
Lovely, friendly staff. Went to get a pasty this morning and there was a bit of a wait, one of the staff members gave me a free drink while I was waiting and was really polite and sweet, really made my day. Just annoyed I didn’t get her name to put on the review.
Lovely food especially the veggie bake. Clean shop, friendly staff....
But one annoying gripe. You come in from the cold, ready to spend the next two hours on a freezing cold bus. The last thing you need is a COLD pasty! They desperately need a microwave and then they would get a five star rating!
