Excellent. The pub had a nice atmosphere, the staff were busy but still engaging. The place was impressively clean, including the tables. More so the food was great. Much much better than I expected from a few negative reviews here. Full marks. Enjoyed the visit.

Not the best of Wetherspoons but good drinks and service can’t be beaten

Visited Moon on the Hill with relative & went to rear end of pub where there's an outside beer garden. Enjoyed a Vindaloo which was extremely hot but full of flavour. Staff pleasant & professional. Visited 9/10/22 & had chicken breast in batter served with sticky soy sauce, coleslaw & a choice of spicy rice or chips, all of which was served quite soon after ordering. Truly enjoyed it & highly recommend. Visited 23/04/22 for a drink with family member. Bar assistant really friendly. Found table easily despite being quite busy. Paid tapping card on device. (Pub has an upper level towards rear with several booths for family/friend groups, along with doors leading to a beer garden; outside seating also available at front of pub. Toilets also on upper level on right-hand side. Hot & cold snacks & meals available. Part of Weatherspoons group.
