Really tasty parmo, and an interesting combination of ingredients in so many of the dishes on the menu, which I did not come across. Been here twice now and both times really enjoyed the food.

First tried matei’s kebabs in Harrogate and instantly fell in love with the flavours.. Googled him straight away to find him in Sunderland.. planned a trip straight away for a 1.5 hours drive just for another kebab of his, on our way we managed to find him at a food festival in seaham!! 🤤 again as always just 💯 So much so 30 mins later after eating standard food the night before and day before that I found myself watching a cooking demo and as the chef (Matt tebbutt) announces later he’ll be doing a dirty shawarma kebab!!! leaving me in tears literally as we’re travelling back down before he starts.. it then Hit me how content I was with Matei’s kebabs and the emotions it unlocks by experiencing such flavours and quality ingredients The chicken tikka and chicken tandoori are the best tasting and textured chicken I have had ever, nothing comes close.. just spot on!

How can a kebab be so tasty? A flavour sensation. 10/10 Quite expensive but worth every penny. We had chicken palma kebab and combo kebab. Both excellent. We also ordered fries certainly not required as portion sizes are large and plenty of fries in kebab.
