This is the best fish and chip restaurant in the whole of the north east.....infact I'd probs say it's the best in the whole world � (but don't quote me on this as I don't generally do worldwide fish n chip shop trips or I'd be totally obese!) I love going to clems, it's not only the food that I love but the company of the very friendly staff, they can never do enough for you! My little girl spilt her chips and the lass that was working shouted straight back down for another portion!! Great babysitting aswell may I add!! They played with my little boy while I ate my tea!! Highly recommend chicken Kiev and chips!! Absolutely beautiful infact I may have a trip through the town now......the comments on the other reviews need to be ignored as they could have been avoided if they just spoke to the lovely staff about it they would have sorted it for them

Went for meal in Restaurant with family, service very good, staff very nice, fish was wonderful and chips hot and the portion size was to be honest a bit on the generous side. Tea was good and all round a happy experience. Can recommend.
