Lovely pub very inviting. Food was tasty fulling and well worth the money.. Staff were lovely and very helpful, asking if I needed help to carry my drink from the bar to the table as I use a walking stick to get about. Would highly recommend to any wanting a proper meal or a light bite to eat as there is plenty to choose from. *****
Had the dog with us so chose to eat in the beer garden, but you can have dogs inside at the far end of the bar.
Homemade chips are lovely. Good portion sizes and good value

When we got there it was very busy, but the staff were very attentive and said the wait shouldn't be too long. It wasn't at all, and one lady in particular (the older lady) jumped in to action to tidy up, so we could have the table.
We ordered the carvery. It's one of the best carverys I've ever had, and I've had a lot 😂😂
Very reasonable prices too.
We will definitely be back.
The same lady who looked after us also gave the kids a packet of sweets each.
