I’ve had three takeaways from here in less than a month. My average was three a year before I moved to Stroud! I’ve not eaten the whole menu yet but I plan to work my way through it over the next few months - to hell with my diet! This chef knows spices; his blends are precise and defined. The nan bread is perfect, the dhal is delicious and the rice is aromatic and full of flavour. I’ve been eating curry for over 40 years - Nargis is in the top 3.

I'm not from the Stroud area, but visit here most weekends and this is my go to Indian, I've tried 3 of the others.....it's always been fresh and well balanced and ready on time. The madras was a good one and haven't been disappointed in anything.
