The Elms is a pub that has changed little over the years . However there is a warm and friendly welcome from behind the bar giving the traveler a nice relaxed feeling. The food is pub grub, no starters or sweets but good tasty no nonsense main courses. Delivered to the table with a cheerful smile, hot, smelling good, looking good and tasty. The menu is not vast, there are snacks too but the food is good. For the hungry traveller, the Elms may not look much from the outside but you will get a warm welcome and we'll fed.

Had a lovely homemade cottage pie with plenty of local veg. Gravy was Devine. Would eat here again for sure. The prices are very reasonable. And an open fire is a massive bonus. New owners so getting on their feet but nothing too much trouble. Thank you
