Was on holiday in Scotland and passed this tearoom on our way back from a day out. We asked if the tearoom was still open. The lovely lady behind the counter said it wasn't but asked what we were wanting, we only wanted Coffees and Scones, she happily said she would make it, and to go be seated but be careful on her freshly mopped floors. The service was fantastic as was the Coffees and Scones. I would definitely recommend
Lovely, relaxed, little spot to have a break. Really friendly staff and the food was excellent. I'd happily go back. Pro tip: depending on how busy the café/shop are, you may experience a short wait. Do what I did - relax - and all will be well...
We were staying in Strachur for the weekend. Came across this little Bay Cottage and tea room whilst exploring the village. We had Friday special dinner there, which was sword fish on tabbouleh. It was fantastic! When asked, the owner said he likes experimenting with new ideas and that the specials change every weekend. We then visited the place again the following morning to have breakfast. We did not go for the usual full breakfast, but instead ordered a venison roll. It was the most juiciest and fresh venison roll I've ever had. Can't recommend enough!
