First visit, and it was lovely. Greeted by a nice mannerly gentleman, seated and covid checks done. The place was immaculate, very clean and lovely chairs! Menu was good and the wine also!
Really enjoyed our Sunday lunches, food was so tasty, very filling, didn't have room for dessert, but will most definitely be back again!
Very good quality food & excellent service in the old Sion Mills stables now completely renovated & refurbished. Have no idea why Google thinks it does accommodation, it's a restaurant which has a bar! 2 for 1 cocktails & food on Thursday nights & an excellent 2 or 3 set course menu lunch/brunch on Sundays which is very well frequented. Well worth a visit even if only for the historical interest.
Called in for lunch today after taking the dog for a walk. The manager was very pleasant and welcoming to us as we wanted to sit outside with our tired pup. A mouth-watering menu was placed down in front of us and after a quick browse I decided on the honey bbq wings and fries and my partner ordered the curry. "What about the dog?" I hear you say, "Surely he deserves something to eat as well." You are correct. My partner ordered a tasty treat of chicken and rice for our good boy and the manager who served us was more than happy to oblige. I sipped over a crisp pint of Heverlee for 10-15 minutes before our food was served. Delicious. Our meals arrived warm and well presented, tasted great and plates were cleaned all round. I have made a point to order something different each time I visit this restaurant and once again they have exceeded my expectations. A hidden pearl indeed.
