We popped in not expecting much after a difficult day and the service was outstanding. The bar staff told us several times that there was a 45 minute wait which was not a problem but the food arrived in 20 minutes! My partners steak was perfectly cooked. The young lady who served us on the bar was so polite and friendly. We thanked the manager for the service and without prompting he gave us a drink to return to our hotel room with, so unexpectedly kind! I would highly recommend a visit.

This is one of these places where you give your table number at the bar The food was good however no one was interested in clearing our table after we finished our main. Afterwards we had to go to the bar or would still be waiting! No one came to check to see if our meals were ok but maybe that's the business model Breakfast was good with plenty of choice

Lovely pub with lovely food. Always accommodate us as a large family with quite a few children between us. Nothing is too much trouble. They even put a birthday banner, birthday card from the team and a small bottle as a gift for my dads 60th which we were celebrating which was a nice touch Highly recommended. Its always out go to pub grub
