Parked up for a rest and using the facilities. The toilets were clean, which is nice. Some charging points for electric cars. A selection of eateries. Some slot machine, a cashpoint. Fuel at usual motorway prices. Bought a meal deal from the shop, not too overly priced.
Great modern service station, clean inside and out with a range of popular food outlets - Costa, Pret a Manger, Chozen, M&S simply food, Burger King, also WHSmith for other conveniences, and an arcade games room. Outside there is a lovely tree lined lake with a fountain and plentiful birdlife. There are also picnic tables dotted around the paths. There is, bizarrely, an external bank of launderette washer/driers as well - it's unclear who would use these, perhaps Happy Campers passing by? đźš™
moto services stop off M6 near Stoke-on-Trent. Nice, leafy stop with a variety of eateries, ample parking and good, clean toilets. Road signage a little unclear.
