Roo's cocktail bar is hands down the single greatest place I have ever been in my life.
Like cocktails? Love bars? Then you my friend, have come to the right place.
Heading out of green bottles, barely able to see straight, I lurched up the high street towards the cash point and noticed Roo's was still open, so I decided to head over to the C&A.
Then I remembered I have standards, and headed instead to Roo's.
And MY GOD was that a good decision. After carefully considering the ample menu I decided on my drink and Roo (Andrew) began to mix my pornstar martini. The skill with which he mixed my drink may never be seen by these eyes again.
Three bottles, in two hands all into one drink. Sublime. Moreover the drink itself was practically orgasmic. I ordered eight of these drinks just because they deserved to exist - and though I could've drunk them all, I felt it was better to let them sit and allow everyone to simply bask in their glory.
Bigger than you'd think and a great atmosphere. But enough about Roo. The bar is excellent and I'm told even serves food.
11/10 - would drink again.
Brill night for my hen party. Organised perfectly. Staff so friendly, excellent service. Cannot fault at all, all food was as ordered, came out at the same time and all hot. To top it off the food was excellent! Great night had by all, highly recommend and shall definitely be returning!

I don’t normally do reviews but feel I have to. My wife, son & I have been here twice now for food & a drink. We have been very happy with the food both times. I had a Roo burger last time & I have to say this. It was the best burger I’ve ever had. Everything about it was perfection the patty was how I like it pinkish in the middle, bacon was fresh done to perfection. Well done the chef.
The staff can’t do enough for you. The only negative I can say is that the toilets are very small but there’s a rumour they are expanding.
Well done to Roo’s nice to see a local business taking pride in the experience & products. See you soon
