Buffet China Hanley

Five of us went, three children (7, 9 and 10) and two adults and food and drink cost us £45. Food was lovely with refillable drinks (including vimto!). The kids were chuffed with a good selection of chinese and English food. A larger selection is avaible in the evenings. Staff were lovely! One us had to nip to tesco to get some cash to pay and she let me and the children have our drinks while we waited. Lovely room with string light trees and comfy seats.

FANTASTIC. We went for a meal here at 7 pm on Wednesday evening, it's spotlessly clean and 5 STAR HYGENE RATED. The food was superb and the service outstanding. Price wise it was a bargain at £9.20 each with plenty of choices. Yes there are dearer restaurant's, but for food, decor and service, in my opinion it can't be beaten. Parking is a stones throw from Hanley Tesco and l will certainly be returning. IGNORE the bad review's and give it a try, its probably, in my opinion, only envious competition writing them...

I liked it and would go back again. Went on Wednesday around 19:00 - paid £13.99 each and had a huge buffer selection - sushi, sweet and sour chicken, steak, strawberries and melon etc. Would definitely go back again. Not too crowded, everyone is friendly, and had an enjoyable meal. It would be better if all the food was cooked fresh, but for the price it is good especially as it's all you can eat :) Looking forward to going again.

Just got back from Buffet China tonight and I can say nothing other than it was fantastic. The atmosphere is lovely and inside is newly decorated. The food was typical 'Chinese family favourites' Crispy Sweet and Sour Pork, Beef in black bean, Classic Chicken Curry, Spare Ribs, Satay Chicken ETC. They even had 2 kinds of Fried Rice, 3 kinds of Chow Mein, Yuk Sung and Pizza/Sausage Rolls and chips for the Kids. Dessert is basic, lots of Sweets, Fruit and Ice-Cream but still tasty non the less. All in all it isn't a 'Michelin Star' restaurant, the pop is unlimited refill (£2.50) and the food is exactly the same kind of standard you would expect from your local take-away. If your wanting fancy fodder cooked on a grill by some fella in a hat, go Bon Pan Asian. If you just want good old Chinese food, of a really good standard and be full at the end of it then Buffet China is your place. At £8.80 per Adult 5:30 - 10:30pm at night you really can't complain either. If you're still unsure they even do a stuff your own take-away box for £3.50 if you don't want to eat in, so you could always pay less and test the water that way :) Thanks for a great night Buffet China, we will be back! (Reading the past reviews I also thought I'd slip in that they were serving alcohol when we went.)
