Had a lovely afternoon Sunday lunch here. Bottomless gravy and Yorkshire puddings beautifully presented and tastes amazing.
My only gripe was the roast potatoes. Flat very hard like they were left under a heat lamp and the mash potatoes although lovely could have been drunk through a straw.
Other than that a lovely venue for dinner with lots of aviation history to look at and talk about and a lovely view of the new housing estate with some beautiful houses and the hills in the background.
First time ever visiting The Aviator on Friday evening the 5th May, my mum and dad were treating me and hubby. We celebrated hubby's birthday and
our Wedding Anniversary. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady who took us to our table, as we were passing the waitresses they gave us a really lovely warm welcome as well. We were looked after by the delightful Sarah K who was just so good and a true credit to you. Nothing was too much trouble for Sarah she was spot on and was looking after Ben who had only just started working at the pub on the Friday, again what a lovely young man he was. The food was really fab so tasty and everything was bought to the table in a timely professional manner but most importantly service with a smile.
When the desserts came the team even sang happy birthday to hubby which was a nice touch.
We will definitely be back keep doing what your doing the Customer Service was second to none.
See you soon.
Thank you
Mel , Steve, Jean & Brian 😉
Really nice atmosphere, attentive staff. The lunch time 2 course meal is really good value.
It gets really busy, so book if possible. If you want to go to the restaurant section. Otherwise you can probably find a seat somewhere as its a big pub. I've been a few times at 12.30 mid week, and it has been surprisingly busy.
It's immaculately clean. The toilets are 10/10.
