We visited after seeing a movie in the cinema on the same row, when we arrived it was quiet with only one table dining at the time, our order was taken quickly and food arrived not too long after. I ordered Casareccia Pork & Garlic Meatballs, and my daughters ordered the Bolognese.
Mine arrived with no meatballs to be seen, im assuming the mushed up meat was the meat "balls" it still tasted ok and didn't complain because I couldn't be bothered hanging around for it to be remade especially when my daughters were already eating theirs.
The garlic bread with cheese and caramelised onions was fantastic though which made up for the lack of meaty balls...
The waitresses were polite, and the restaurant was clean. However, considering the lack of diners, we weren't able to use the toilet due to them all seemingly being in use? Despite us not seeing anyone going to or from them during our visit.
A wet evening, made me pop in and im glad i did. A lovely kind team looked after me.
The truffle pizza was a great as the recommendation.
Some days im sure this is very busy, but not during my visit.
Although ive only rated zizzi Stockport 4 stars...I would still recommend a visit.
The food was nice and was good value for money, big portion sizes. Definitely recommend you give the cheesy garlic bread with balsamic onions a whirl...was delicious.
The young lady that served us was very professional and friendly but was on her own and had so much to do so service was a little slow, thus obviously wasnt her fault they need to hire more staff.
All in all it was good but could improve!
