Proud to call this pub our local, love to visit on a Thursday to enjoy a pie and a pint. Superb pork pies with a pint of whatever stout or Porter is recommended, doggies welcome. Can’t recommend enough.

I stepped foot in this place, after much anticipation, for the first time tonight and it's everything I hoped it would be. The owners, Alan and Chris, are wonderful people, their staff are curtious, their selection of beers is hard to rival and, for a place that's been open for two days, it's incredibly well handled and full of lovely people. I absolutely cannot recommend it enough.

Fantastic place, that Stockport was overdue. A fine array of ales of which frequently change to keep you coming back for more. I highly recommend Red Hot Poker seasonal ale. Stunning!!!!
