The staff are delightfully friendly and have ensured the seating is well apart in a COVID-safe environment.
The food: it is a rare treat to find a selection of poppadom dips that go beyond the usual suspects; add to this a particularly fresh vivid green coconut and chilli type dip (delicious with a dollop of mango chutney) and a couple of other additions and you get a most pleasant appetiser.
On to the main course: i chose a fish and prawn curry (i forget the name) with a side of onion bhaji and pilau rice. The fish was gloriously soft and flaky and the prawns retained the texture and were not in the least bit chewy (hurray!)
Add to this a couple of pints of Kingfisher and my bill came to just £21!
If you fancy a curry i certainly recommend Kathmandu Restaurant.
Awesome family run curry house! Lots of lovely dishes and the service is friendly and excellent. Tons of veggie options (a whole page in fact) and there are lots of great choices for omnivores too!! We have been coming for years and are never disappointed. Prices are reasonable with poppadoms, starter and mains for 2 for around the £30 mark.
I first found out about this place 3 years ago and have been dining here since then, either for takeaways or for sit down meals with my family. The consistency is always very good, and they cook to you're very own taste. The menu is excellent, and being a family run unit gives it that extra touch, we think. Brilliant!!
