Had a really good meal here on Saturday evening. We both had steak pie, which was a good sized portion with lots of pieces of tender beef and came with a jug of gravy - that's bonus points in my book! Vegetables and chips well cooked too, with a good bite to the broccoli.
The only very slight downside was that the vinyl on the seating was damaged, and I had to be careful not to catch my clothing on it.
Pub was very clean, and staff were friendly and efficient. Prices for the food were good, but £3.50 for a draught diet coke more than a little steep.

LOVED the staff here-- they were so cheerful, kind, and welcoming. My sister and I headed here for the evening and ended up closing the bar out. We also had dinner, which was good. My side salad, was not the best, but everything else was delish.

This is a amazing place love coming here we travel from Falkirk for lunch quite often staff are great service great too I would highly recommend this place you won't be disappointed

The staff was very kind, especially the guy who served us. The atmosphere is homey and cozy. It’s the right place where to spend time at the end of a day of work, with relaxing and tasty food. I highly recommend it

It was early visit. Hot day needed cooling down. Staff friendly good selection of beer. Roof top terrace. Most of the tables were booked for later on that day. Would go back again.
