After reading all the reviews on here and then going on to tell anyone and everyone about how good this place is, I finally got round to going for myself and it didn't disappoint.
We received a warm welcome as soon as we walked through the door with help on what dishes to go for and a brief description of items on the menu.
Chicken Taka Taka for my starter which was sharp with tamarind and a hint of spice , friend chose Sheeek Kebab which was served on a sizzling hot plate, and this was moist and spicy .
Mains for me were Chilli Chicken and Mushroom Fried Rice, the chicken was beautiful and tender with the rice light fluffy and steaming hot.
Friend chose Chicken Achari which was sharp with the taste of pickle and a garlic naan again quality was excellent.
It’s clear that the owners and the chef/s have a passion for the food they serve and this stands out as soon as you enter.
I am already looking forward to my next visit and will definitely try something different.
Having recently visited a so called more upmarket Indian/Asian restaurant in the area, this place beats it hands down for the quality of the food served and the service offered.
Second time we have been to The Morris Man , excellent food , excellent customer service and wonderful staff. Their curries are to die for.
Visited the Morris Man last Saturday for the first time. The food was exceptional undoubtedly the best curry in Stafford. Highly recommend
