Booked a table in advance for Sunday lunch as this is usually fully booked by the weekend. A good range of food was on offer but we skipped the starters to get cracking into the mains. We had the pork which came with apple sauce and crackling, plus a choice of other sauces too. The pork was wonderfully cooked, the leek cheese, roasted courgette and peppers were a great new taste that complimented the traditional roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. The kids had chicken which was more than enough, neither child wanted pudding which is unheard of!
For dessert I had mixed berry bread and butter pudding and cream, which was full of flavour. I couldn't recommend this Sunday lunch more. The best in Cambridgeshire so far.
What a nice change to see a place with life, food on most days, advisable booking for the steak nights, the Sunday lunch was fully booked after 1pm but managed to find a place a bit earlier and it came before. The ale was a green king ipa. Which was OK and no complaints, which makes a change from me. A carpark to the rear worth a look again.
One of the best pubs in st neots , staff are lovely and pub is lovely . Beer prices are good and food is worth every penny , steak night on a Thursday is the best
