We've been going to the Golden Lion for years and always have a great time. The staff are so nice and friendly and the food is always top notch. The recent refurbishment is fantastic and has really improved the place. Well worth a visit especially steak nights on Fridays. �
Have just spent the last week in St Ives and last Sunday used the Golden Lion in the evening for their superb Sunday roast , I think we have eaten there on about four occasions since , always a fabulous meal , always friendly, great staff and welcoming also real ale in top condition ! I only have one criticism if that's what you call it is that this great pub is 250 miles from my home town of Tewkesbury ! !
