I visited today to meet Joel at Charlotte Tillbury . What an amazing experience!!!! The kindest funniest person ever . It was a pleasure to lean so many tips from him . I feel so much more informed. I can wait to return.
Voisins is a hit & miss - poised to be a "high street high end department store", yet the experience is varied due to staff who either are hired out of necessity and know little about the products and how to deliver customer service on a level different that would be OK in a grocery store, to staff who think working there makes themselves posh and they may come across condescending, especially when you're not "dressed adequately" or just not trendy to give off an impression of "belonging". I don't know. Other staff are good to very good, but nothing above expected baseline (ad that's fine).
Product selection is varied and good. The posher brands, however, are underrepresented, and some lesser known and not as desirable brands are sold - understandably due to margins. Still, having a wider selection in the common upper class brands would be preferred.
There's a great Brasserie, Voisins Kitchen, with good food, nice decor but a bit overwhelmed servers, which often are rushing and may not come across as friendly due to all the stress. Given the food pricing I would much rather prefer service that isn't reminiscent of a sandwich shop.
Great department store, helpful and polite staff, well worth a visit.
