I think with Beefeater they are the same as Brewers Fayre, both owned up the premier inn so they have the same menu. The breakfasts in the morning are great and I cannot fault that. The dinner menus are very expensive though, I got the mixed grill and you don't get a lot for what you pay, a pint of Carling was £4.30 so £2 more than usual. There was only one telly on in the entire place and it were right near the entrance in the corner. There wasn't much going on in there at night, pretty quiet, I would give this place a 5 Star Review but the Mixed Grill was a let down.
Slow. Very slow on greeting and seating you. Quick on taking your drinks order, Slow on your drinks being served.
Declan who took our food order is brilliant. Advised us and had a laugh and actually made polite, fun conversation about our day, Brilliant.
We ordered from the 3 course cheapskates menu for £18.45 each. Had garlic flatbread and cheesy potato skins for starters.
Steaks, Sirloin and Rump, came out cooked to perfection and the chunky chips hot, crunchy outside fluffy inside.
Apple pie and custard, Hot and yummy.
Great meal will come again. 😋
Thanks Declan and to the chefs
The food was very good and much better than I expected, however, the best part was the service, it was outstanding and they put a lot of detail into their allergy protection which is important as two people in our family have serious allergy issues.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with similar issues or just looking for a nice meal.
