It's a must visit location when in St Andrews every time I visit Scotland I have to at least have one visit. The staff are great the food if great and it's just one of those places you won't forget in a long time for all the good reasons
You must go and give it a try you won't be disappointed from brecfadt to lunch the stake bagget is the best I've had and the scones are a must with a cup of tea and cream.
Will be back next time in Scotland for sure. You must go give it a go.
Quirky setting; lots of fascinating vintage things to look at, cosy and friendly. The food is fresh and interesting and consistently good. Service is friendly and polite. Gets very busy at lunchtime, so go early as there's a fairly limited number of tables upstairs. I love this place and would happily recommend it.
We had an attentive, attractive, friendly waiter who made our visit quite pleasant. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the 40's music and the 40's "look" to the room. We had strawberry-mango tea, salads, toasties, and paninis. It was a delightful lunch!!
