Really great burgers, very reasonably priced as far as st albans goes.
Rosemary fries are included in the price (rare thing these days!)
Friendly service and a cosy informal atmosphere, nice friendly staff and our food came out in 10 minutes at most.
Definitely recommend! One of the best burger places I've been to in a long time. My American girlfriend, who is a self proclaimed burger connoisseur, has even given it her stamp of approval, which is notoriously difficult to acquire.
Food was great, the setting is great the food arrived promptly so you might be wondering why only 1 out of 5 stars..............The reason is simple. I dont appreciate having to view your waiter walking around with his underwear on show whilst i am eating my food.........Train your staff to dress correctly when they are working and representing your establishment
So I returned to Meating Room today with my wife and kids having received an email from the owner.
All I can say is I was impressed before with the food and the atmosphere etc and today I can add the service was impeccable. Smartly dressed happy smiling staff made the trip that much more enjoyable. Food as before was served quickly and tasted great.
I would now recommend this place to all my friends and family as a great place to eat

I went there with my husband and family we had a lovely time chatting to the owner, very polite. We ordered various starters which were amazing. The homemade burgers were lush so juicy. The chips were perfect not oily or soggy. The portion was way too much but great. Very lovely would defo recommend it to family and friends especially those that like an proper English burger.
