Lovely venue, nice food, nice staff but left feeling hungry. Street parking only which can mean you have a bit of a walk so if you have elderly or mobility issues I suggest drop off outside and park up. I had roast dinner which was 3 pieces of very nice beef, 2 potatoes, 1 Yorkshire and a side of veg. All nice just a small portion. For desert sticky toffee pudding with salted caramel ice cream.
Would recommend, would visit again. There is a nice outdoor area at the back and the venue is surprisingly spacious.
Had an excellent Birthday Lunch, the black pudding starter, duck breast and orange torte were excellent.
The restaurant is nicely decorated and the staff very pleasant. Very highly recommended!
We had a table booked, greeted warmly and taken straight to our table. Drink and food orders were taken quickly but we weren't rushed. Food was absolutely lovely and enjoyed by all. We will definitely be returning.
