Beautiful new venue with a HUGE range of gins, as well as other spirits if gin is not your thing. Each drink is individually presented and the staff work to recommend the best mixer for your drink. Food was also delicious and beautifully presented. You are paying for the quality though. A G&T is going to set you back somewhere around £8 and a main course £18. Lovely details to notice though are the art work on the walls and a full shelf of a variety of handsoaps in the toilets.
With one week till my 40th, a group of friends and I looked for a restaurant to have a nice meal and a few drinks. Gin and Olive Southampton caught our eye, and what a great night we had. The selection of gin on offer is massive, with all other drinks catered for as well, and our food was also great. I had a gourmet burger, which was a really good portion size, plus I obviously had to try 5 or 6 different gins, which were all served in large gin glasses with Fever Tree tonic and garnishes that made them look brilliant. I really would advise a trip to the Gin and Olive for an amazing night out with a great atmosphere and friendly staff!
Thanks for a great night,
Ian
Really good food, large portions and well presented. Nachos, chicken burger, coffees and virgin strawberry daiquiri on a Tuesday afternoon. Friendly staff, fab decor & you have to check out the bathroom too :)
